India's Grandmaster Harika Dronavalli went all out for a victory but had to settle for a draw as the middle game got complicated against World No. 6 Mariya Muzychuk of Ukraine in the Fide Women's Grand Prix here today.
She agreed to share the point after 31 compelling moves.
Harika has won two games and picked up two draws which saw her slipping to the second position with 3 points.
"Despite playing with black, I got into an equal position at the opening itself. I saw an opportunity and started pressing but slowly it started fizzling out and I had to accept the draw," Harika said.
India's other Grandmaster Koneru Humpy, on the other hand, won her third consecutive game to jump into the lead. She beat Tan Zhongyi of China to consolidate her position at the top.
