The new bike has more muscular middleweight and offers better performance and handling along with more aggressive riding position and is available for booking from today, the company said in a statement.
The Street Rod, grown from the Street platform, is mounted on a 750 V-twin engine offering more peak power and torque with an extended rev range.
Marketing director Pallavi Singh said the Harley- Davidson Street Rod is built to appeal a specific demographic in this space.
The Street Rod produces 11 per cent more horsepower and 5 per cent more torque than the Street 750, offering a peak power of 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 4,000 rpm, she said, adding the new rear shock absorbers feature an external reservoir to increase fluid capacity and maintain damping consistency.
Headquartered in Gurgaon, Harley-Davidson India has an assembly unit at Bawal in Haryana.
