Both the INLD and Congress have drawn their strategies for the session, party members said here today.
INLD general secretary and party MLA Ajay Singh Chautala, son of party supremo Om Parkash Chautala, alleged that the state government want to run away from its responsibilities by convening a short session.
"The short session, which appears to be a mere constitutional formality, will devoid the elected representatives from raking up several pertinent issues, including deteriorating law and order situation, poor power and water position, corruption and regional favouritism," he told reporters here.
Describing the Apna Ghar sex scandal a "shameful event", Chautala said the incident had brought bad name to the state.
He said the opposition also want clarification from the state government on appointing a "criminal" Kanda as minister of state for Home.
Meanwhile, Congress said it has put the state on the development path and there were numerous achievements in its kitty.
