The Cabinet, which met at Haryana Bhavan here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, also decided to grant extension of area of enquiry of the Dhingra Commission, which has been entrusted to inquire into issuing of licences to develop commercial colonies in Sector 83 of Gurgaon during the previous regime.
Disclosing about the decisions of the Haryana Cabinet, Agriculture Minister Om Prakash Dhankhar said that now the area of enquiry of S N Dhingra Commission has been extended.
He said that now the Commission will enquire into licences issued for developing all types of colonies in these four villages and not commercial colonies alone. Not only Sector 83, but all sectors from 78 to 86 would come under the ambit of the Dhingra Commission's enquiry, Dhankhar said.
