"It is a great moment for us. I think this is the happiest moment of my life. My son has not only made his state proud, but entire nation is talking about his feat," said Yogeshwar's mother Sushila Devi.
Dutt's brother Mukesh said it was a moment they would cherish for the rest of their lives.
"It's great that he has won a medal and made us proud. We had hoped that he would win a gold, but still winning a bronze in the Olympics is a big achievement," said his brother.
At other places including Bhiwani, people celebrated Dutt's feat.
