He also approved allocation of Rs 2.10 crore from the Kurukshetra Development Board for the development of pilgrimage site 'Naag Kshetra'.
Khattar said the Safidon drain project would cost Rs 7 crore while Rs 9.12 crore would be spent on constructing the residential buildings.
The Chief Minister unveiled the statue of Sikh leader Maharaja Jassa Singh Ahluwalia here and announced that the chowk and the ITI here would be named after the Maharaja.
Khattar also approved the demands for the construction of roads, upgradation of schools and setting up of veterinary hospitals.
