Dhesi was presiding over a meeting on Aadhar enrolment of newborns here, an official spokesman said.
It was informed in the meeting that the state has so far recorded Aadhar enrolment of 67.56 per cent newborns.
In Yamunanagar district it has reached 94.26 per cent.
He said that the districts with low Aadhar enrolment rate of the newborns should make concerted efforts to expedite the process.
The Chief Secretary also directed the officers to start training programme for private nursing homes so as to ensure Aadhar enrolment of newborns.
It was also informed that a written communication has also been sent to ensure Aadhar enrolment of newborns in private hospitals, he said.
