Haryana devises policy for industrial units in agri zones
Press Trust of India Chandigarh Haryana government has allowed 10 per cent permissible saleable area of industrial licensed colony for setting up common facilities such as warehouse, storage house and cold storage for the benefit of industrial units.
While stating this here today, an official spokesperson said the state government had framed a policy for grant of licences for development of industrial colony in industrial and agricultural zones.
The matter was reviewed by the government and it had been noticed that no provisions in respect of reservation of area for allied and common services like warehouse and cold storage had been provided in the policy.
Therefore, a decision to this effect has been taken to facilitate and encourage setting up of industries in industrial colonies and parks in Low and Medium Potential Towns for optimum utilization of land and resources.
