The state government has framed a new policy to start moral education in all schools, the Chief Minister said, urging the teaching fraternity to give quality education based on moral values to the new generation.
He said this while addressing a function at a school here, an official release stated.
In a separate function, addressing BJP workers, Khattar said that "mapping of educational institutions" was being done.
New schools, Industrial Training Institutes, engineering colleges and other educational institutions would be opened in the state wherever required and even without being asked for, he said.

He exhorted party workers to ensure benefits of various welfare policies and programmes being run by the state reaches actual beneficiaries.
Without naming anyone, Khattar said political leaders had started a wrong tradition of waving off electricity bills which has caused severe damage and urged people not to indulge in theft of electricity and pay their bills on time.
He also assured that in case the loss of the state's power utilities comes down and they start running on profit, the rate of electricity tariff would also be reduced.
The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of Swami Vivekanand at Lahoria chowk and asked the people to take inspiration from the life of Swami Vivekanand and make valuable contribution in building a strong society and nation.
