Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said the employees' unions leaders had demanded regularisation of the services of daily wagers and contractual employees.
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda considered their demands and took the decision.
According to the state government's regularisation policies of 1993, 1996 and 2003, the left-out employees would be regularised as per these policies. Amendment would also be made in the policy of 2011. Under these policies, employees completing 10 years of service would be regularised.
All unskilled employees would be given a minimum of Rs 8,100 as wage per month. Also, the state government would deposit the money of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees State Insurance of such employees. This would benefit every employee to tune of Rs 1,200 per month.

The employees will get five per cent increase in the minimum pay annually. It has also been decided to amend the Assured Career Progression (ACP) Scheme. Earlier, the benefit of ACP Scheme was given after completion of 10, 20 and 30 years of service which would now be given after completion of 8, 16 and 24 years of service.
On implementation of the new ACP Scheme and Grade Pay structure, for example, a Class-IV employee who used to get Grade Pay of Rs 1,900 after completion of 30 years of service, would get Rs 2,000 on completion of 24 years of service.
