The sarovar, which presently covers an area of two acres, will be expanded to six acres, Hooda told reporters here.
Besides, 24 more ghats would be constructed to facilitate the pilgrims, he said adding, Rs 1.5 crore would be utilised on this project.
Over the years, there has been a constant increasing in the number of devotees turning up to take a holy dip in the sarovar, the CM said.
The next Phalgu mela would be organised in 2015 and then in 2027, Hooda said.
