The Chief Minister, addressing 'vikas rally' at Sector-16 here, also accepted most of the demands raised by local MLA Gian Chand Gupta.
He announced that the existing 100-bed civil hospital in the town will be upgraded to 300-bed capacity.
Also a polytechnic and multi-skill centre would be opened on five acres of land in sector-26, apart from a government senior secondary school on four acres of land in sector-25, Sanskrit Gurukul as well as Sanskrit University in Mansa Devi Shrine Board Complex, he said.

On the issue of granting permission for construction of first floor on booths allotted by HUDA, Khattar said department concerned would be asked to ease the norms in the larger interest of the people.
The demand pertaining to declaration of industrial area as commercial area would also be considered favourably, he added.
Khattar also said a survey is being conducted for rationalisation of property collector rates and increase in Floor Area Ratio (FAR) in the state. "This demand will be fulfilled very soon".
He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in International Yoga Day function to be held in Chandigarh on June 21.
