The assurance was given by the Urban Development Minister to a delegation of Ministers from Haryana - Health Minister Rao Narender Singh and Cooperation Minister Satpal Sangwan and Chief Parliamentary Secretary Rao Dan Singh.
The delegation, which met Nath in the evening, said that southern Haryana has remained neglected for long and the people of the area are facing scarcity of potable as well as irrigation water facilities.
The previous non-Congress governments have always neglected this area and sufficient funds were never provided for the development of this area, they said, adding that as a result this area has remained backward as compared to other parts of the state.
The delegation said if the limit of National Capital Region (NCR) is extended to include Mahendergarh and Bhiwani districts, it will give a new dimension to the progress and development of southern Haryana and bring it at par with other parts of the state.
