The MoU was signed by the NSIC Chairman-cum-Managing Director Ravindra Nath and Haryana Technical Education Department Principal Secretary Anil Malik in the presence of Union MSME Secretary K K Jalan and Haryana Chief Secretary D S Dhesi.
Jalan said the Centre at Neemka would be able to commence operations by April, 2017.
He said 18 such centres are functional across the country and 15 new centres are being set up. Training was being provided to about 2,000-5,000 persons in these centres and 98 per cent of the trainees get employment, he added.
Dhesi said that the construction work of Technology Centre at Rohtak was under progress and it would soon be completed.

NSIC's Ravindra Nath said Andhra Pradesh government has also approached the agency for setting up such centres in their state.
Principal Secretary, Haryana Technical Education Department, Anil Malik said the new centre would give boost to industrial development in NCR, especially Faridabad.
He said that such centres would also be set up in PPP mode in Gurugram.
