Haryana Police Housing Corporation to set up service centres
Press Trust of India Chandigarh The Haryana Police Housing Corporation has decided to set up citizen service centres in all districts of the state to tackle social issues and family disputes.
"In these centres, cases related to social and family issues and marital disputes will be taken up and meetings would be held with NGOs who are helping police department," HPHC Managing Director K K Sandhu said.
Three new police lines would be set up at Palwal, Mewat and Manesar, Sandhu said.
"Apart from this, 3,000 houses would also be built for police personnel at a cost of Rs 550 crore. 800 houses are already under construction," he said.
Regarding shifting of the old police lines located in Medical College campus near district jail at Kaithal road, he said ultra modern police lines of the state would be set up there over 60 acres of land which would be completed within two years at a cost of Rs 103 crore.
