Haryana's cooperative sugar mills produce over 17L qntl sugar

The cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced 17.33 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 187.96 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills said that as compared to it, these sugar mills had produced over 15.66 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 167.89 lakh quintals of sugarcane during corresponding period last year.
Also, 3,58,56,021 units of power have sofar been exported by the cooperative sugar mills during this season as against 3,61,13,212 units exported in corresponding period last year.
The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad has produced a maximum of over 3.31 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 33.44 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has exported 2,17,75,821 units of power.

Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has produced over 1.88 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 21.39 lakh quintals of sugarcane, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak, which has produced 2.13 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 24.36 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
The mills exported 1,31,29,800 units of power.

He said that the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has produced more than 1.86 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 19.78 lakh quintals of sugarcane, whereas Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana has produced 1.64 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 18.86 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
The mills also exported 9,50,400 units of power.
Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat has so far produced over 1.38 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 14.51 lakh quintals of sugarcane, whereas Sonipat sugar mill has produced more than 1.39 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 15.02 lakh quintals of sugarcane.

Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has produced more than 1.36 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 14.58 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has produced 1.10 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 13.03 lakh quintals of sugarcane and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has produced 1.26 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 12.99 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
Apart from this, HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh has produced 1.56 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing more than 16.99 lakh quintals of sugarcane and has exported 16,38,100 units of power.
He said that apart from this, during the current crushing season, six Cooperative Sugar Mills of Haryana have so far sold 119012.35 quintals of bagasse worth over Rs 2.32 crore.

He said that of the total bagasse sold, the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has so far sold 10440.75 quintals of bagasse followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonepat 4096.20 quintals, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal 31850.20 quintals and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham 45,234 quintals.
Apart from this, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has sold 17,237.95 quintals of bagasse and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana has sold 10153.25 quintals.
