The Haryana government will issue 'Shiksha Setu' cards for all government schools, that will keep the teachers and guardians updated about performance of their students.
The move aims to ensure that individual attention is given to every student, an official spokesman said, adding it will help in imparting qualitative education in government schools.
Furthermore, teachers will be provided with diaries to ensure that they reach their respective classes with full preparation, he said.
'Shiksha Setu Cards' will be report cards of the students which update the teachers and guardians about the performance of the students.
The state government is committed towards effective implementation of section 134 A of Right to Education Act, which envisages for admission of children belonging to poor and needy families in private schools, the spokesperson said.
Notices have been issued to private schools found not abiding by provisions of the Act and there is a norm of cancelling recognition of such schools, he added.
