Haryana takes action against Noida based developer

Haryana Town and Country Planning Department today said it has initiated penal action against a Noida based real estate developer for various violations and deficiencies.
The department also advised people not to indulge in any sale or purchase transaction with the company.
Earlier, licenses had been granted to Noida based developer for development of colonies in various towns in the state, but various violations and deficiencies were noticed, spokesperson of the department said.
He said the company has failed to get the various licenses and did not fulfill the terms and conditions of licenses and agreement.
The company had illegally acquired the development rights and Floor-Area Ratio (FAR) in different colonies and executed flat buyer agreement with the people after collecting the payment in this regard, he said.
The company has also failed to deposit huge outstanding dues of government in respect to the terms and conditions of licenses granted for development of companies.
Several complaints pertaining to cheating and fraud were received from the people and keeping in view these violations and complaints, the department initiated penal action against the developers and directors of the company.
An FIR has been lodged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the matter is under investigation with the Crime Branch, the spokesperson added.
