This was announced today by Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Randeep Singh Surjewala after he laid the foundation of Bhagwan Parshuram Polytechnic at village Shergarh in district Kaithal.
He said the corridor would start from Kotputli and pass through Nangal Choudhry, Narnaul, Dadri, Rohtak, Jind, Kaithal and Ambala.
"These towns would be developed as trade centres after completion of this ambitious project," he said, adding that Kaithal-Ambala road would also be widened at a cost of Rs 350 crore.
Surjewala said a railway line starting from Mumbai Port would be laid at a cost of Rs 35,000 crore and it would pass through Rewari.
"A Dry Port would be developed around this railway line. This Port would be helpful in developing all towns of Haryana as trade centres within a radius of 125 km," he said.
Surjewala said construction work on another four-lane road connecting Yamunanagar, Karnal and Ladwa would be undertaken at a cost of Rs 500 crore.
"Haryana will become a large industrial and trade centre in future," he said.
