Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu said that this incentive is being given on the pattern of the central government to ease the pressure on banks.
Group C and D employees has been given the option to draw their salary advance up to Rs 10,000 in cash and this amount would be adjusted in their salary for November to be paid in December 2016, the minister said.
He said that the arrears of the revised pay would also be paid within the current financial year. Haryana is the first state to give the benefit of 7th Central Pay Commission to its employees on the pattern of central government, he said in an official release.
"Also, it is always the first state in the country to give to its employees the benefits announced by the Central Government for the employees from time to time," he claimed.

The Haryana government has also decided to give 2 per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) to its employees on revised scales of pay with effect from July 1, 2016.
Capt Abhimanyu said that a proposal to this effect has been approved by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
He said that the installment of DA would be paid in cash to all state government employees on the pattern of Central Government. With this revision, the State exchequer would bear an additional burden of Rs 21.92 crore per month.
