Haryana to have one stop centre to curb crime against women

Haryana State Women's Commission today said that a 'one stop centre' would be set up in each district of the state where cases of theft, loot, and physical tyranny against women would be speedily solved under one roof.
"Cases of theft, loot, physical tyranny against women would be speedily solved under one roof in the One Stop Centre (OSC)," state's Women's Commission Chairperson Kamlesh Panchal said.
The committees headed by authoritative women would soon be set up to curb crime against women, she said here.
Directing senior police officials to take speedy action in all such matters, she also exhorted women not to brook any injustice and cruelty and raise their voice against them.
The chairperson urged officials to see to it that liquor vends were situated in villages away from educational institutions.
