The unapproved colonies fulfilling the criteria upto 2009 were regularised earlier, the announcement of which was made at the Gohana rally organised by him.
Addressing a public gathering in Gurgaon, Hooda said the state government had regularised many unapproved colonies but many still remained in Gurgaon which were required to be regularised for provision of basic amenities.
The Chief Minister said that the unapproved colonies developed upto 2009 which fitted into the parameters laid down by the government were regularised earlier and announcement to this effect was made in Gohana's "Shakti Rally" of the Congress on November 10 last year.
The Chief Minister also greeted people on "Lohri" and "Makar Sakranti" festivals and said the state government would not leave any shortcomings in development of Gurgaon.
Referring to demands put up by Sports Minister Sukhbir Singh Kataria, Hooda said he would like that the roads and parks to be named after freedom fighters as he himself belonged to the family of freedom fighters.
Later, Hooda visited the Chairman of Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board, Prof Rati Ram Choudhary, who is under treatment in Medanta hospital in Gurgaon.
