Similarly, a District Level Coordinating Committee (DLCC) would be formulated to look after tobacco control activities in all districts, the spokesman said.
These committees would be responsible for carrying out key activities such as training of health and social workers, NGOs, school teachers and enforcement officers, he said.
The committees would also carry out Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities, organise school programmes to protect youth from the evils of tobacco and monitor tobacco control laws, he said.
