Haryana welcomes Japanese SME investments

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has assured Japanese Ambassador Takeshi Yagi that his state would provide all necessary facilities for Japanese industries.
Hooda gave this assurance to the Japanese Ambassador who called on him here today. The two exchanged views with regard to investment by Japanese small and medium entreprises (SMEs) in Haryana.
Yagi requested Haryana Government to consider development of ready-to-move-in infrastructure for investment by the Japanese SMEs in the state and expressed satisfaction at the state government's response to concerns of Japanese investors in Haryana.
The discussions regarding the model to be followed in this regard have already taken place with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Hooda said the state government will take all necessary steps to implement the road map that will be drawn in this regard.
The chief minister said Haryana was already the first choice of Japanese investors and the state was committed to further facilitate Japanese investment in Haryana.
The meeting was also attended by the Principal Secretary to Haryana Chief Minister S S Dhillon, Principal Secretary Industries Y S Malik and Managing Director of Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation Tarun Bajaj.
