The two cells, to be established with an investment of Rs 3 crore, aim at lessening the impact of any possible chemical disaster in the industrial units functioning in the cities, a labour department spokesperson said.
He said that the department is also in the process of setting up two hygiene labs at Gurgaon and Faridabad at a cost of Rs 1.27 crore to provide health care to the workers of industrial units.
The government has also sanctioned Rs 1.31 crore during the current financial year to run three rehabilitation centres set up for for destitute and migrant child labours at Panipat, Faridabad and Yamunanagar.
