Justice Vibhu Bakhru asked Delhi Police to come with a fresh order within three days on the plea of Ashok Kumar Yadav who has been denied the temporary firework licence on October 7.
In his plea filed through lawyer Tarun Sharma, Yadav said that the licence was denied on the ground that his shop has a staircase.
Although, there is the staircase in the rear of the shop, the upper floor is vacant and has neither been used for storage nor any person resides there and hence, it doesn't pose any safety threat as apprehended by police, the plea said.
