"The writ petition is dismissed," a bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice Jayant Nath said.
The public interest litigation (PIL), filed by one Kapil Choudhary, had claimed that there were over 20 mobile towers installed in 700-year-old Tehkhand village in Okhla industrial area here and they were creating health hazards for the villagers.
He had alleged that mobile phone companies have installed the towers in residential area which was contrary to policy of the Central Government.
The petitioner had also alleged that due to the radiation discharge from these mobile phone towers, people in the area were facing health problems and two of them had died due to cancer.
The plea had further said that buildings in the village were old and they were not in a position to bear the load of tower due to which it could collapse.
