A bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Anu Malhotra declined to transfer the case, saying the crime branch of Delhi Police is "extensively" investigating the matter.
"In-depth investigation is being carried out by the Delhi Police, crime branch. The investigation is at a sensitive stage, wherein few accused persons have been arrested," it said.
It also turned down the petitioner's -- Sanklap Charitable Trust -- request that the high court should monitor the investigation of the matter.
The petitioner had moved the court seeking direction to transfer the probe to the CBI into the case.
