Justice C T Selvam said the court had directed the Station Inspector on Nov 16 2012 to investigate within two months the complaint of petitioner Poosai Malavarar against his brother who reportedly forged a sale deed and took possession of his land, and submit a report.
Though the order was passed that day, no action had been taken by police.
Petitioner's counsel sought to know why the inspector had demanded it when his client's thumb impression was available in the sale deed itself.
The Petitioner sought to transfer the case to CB-CID, charging local Police inspectors with being biased.
The Judge directed the DSP to investigate the case and submit his report in two months.
