Dismissing the petition filed by P.Kalarani,Justice S.Vaidhyanathan of the Madurai Bench, said the petitioner had not proved that she had the required 48 days attendance for training. On the other hand, police had established that she had attended training only for 32 days instead of the mandatory 48 days, by producing the attendance register.
She had also charged that the Sub-Inspector (Homeguards), who gave training, had demanded Rs.2000 as bribe for providing her course completion certificate."There are serious allegations..She should have established them," the judge said.
Since the petitioner had not produced the attendance register and the respondent produced it,the allegation that the third respondent demanded Rs.2000 as bribe could not be accepted, the judge said.
The petitioner had come forward with false averment and unclean hands, the judge said, slapping the fine.
The petitioner was selected in 2010 to work in Virudhunagar district. But she did not undergo sufficient days of training. Hence she was not entitled for appointment, police said.
