HC moved against oral test for civil judge post
Press Trust of India Madurai The Madras High Court today directed the government to get instructions from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission on a plea seeking a stay on the oral test for the post of civil judge on the ground that the result of the written examination was yet to be published.
Justices S Manikumar and G Chockalingam posted the petition for hearing on April 10.
Petitioner P Kalpanadevi submitted that she had appeared for the written examination and was waiting for the result. She was called for certificate verification on February 26, but in the meanwhile the list of candidates eligible for attending the oral test to be held on April 15 was published.
She wondered how could the TNPSC call for oral test without publishing the results and sought quashing of the list of candidates and preparation of a fresh list.
