The division bench comprising Chief Justice Kurian Joseph and Justice Dharam Chand Chaudhary issued notice to Sharma and his wife on a petition filed by Kuldeep Dogra seeking inquiry by an independent agency into the allegation and directed them to file reply by September 21.

The petition alleged that Anita Devi was more than 40 years of age at the time of recruitment whereas the upper age limit for the post was 38 years.

It alleged that a forged employment certificate identity card was submitted with application form as the card was of one Anita, daughter of Lal Chand, whereas Anita Devi is daughter of Om Parkash.

The petitioner alleged that false experience certificate was annexed with the application as the panchayat samiti Amb had informed under RTI that no sewing and stitching centre was opened or functioning in 1997-98 in Chaproh (Chintpurni) panchayat.

Even, the trade certificate appeared to be forged as it was issued in the name of Anita, daughter of Parveen Sharma, alleged Dogra.

During the BJP government from 1998-2003, Sharma was a state minister and his wife had joined the job in October 2000 on the recommendation of HP Subordinate Services Selection Board.

Dogra alleged that he had approached the state government but no action was taken by the government till date.
