Kerala High Court today permitted the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to continue with its probe into Solar Panel scam, which has rocked the state.
The oral direction in this regard was issued by a division bench comprising Chief Justice Manjula Chellur and Justice K Vinod Chandran while posting after two weeks a PIL seeking CBI probe into the scam to enable the petitioner to produce more documents.
The bench said at this stage, the investigation (by the SIT) cannot be stalled. It also pointed that the petitioner has produced only media reports.
The Petitioner's counsel then sought time to produce more materials following which the court granted two weeks time.
The petitioner, Advocate Sudhakaran and BJP worker of Kollam also sought impleading of Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and Chief Whip, P C George.
Some petitioners also sought to implead in the PIL.

The high court had doubted his integrity earlier and ordered enquiry against him, he said.
