Justice H N Nagamohan ordered issue of notice to the Lokayukta police on the matter and adjourned it to next week.

There are nine accused in the case, including Naidu, former industries minister and his son Katta Jagadish.

The case is before the Lokayukta court for hearing before charge.

On May 21, Lokayukta police had filed a chargesheet against former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and Katta Subramanya Naidu in the case after a probe was ordered on a private complaint by Alam Pasha, an entrepreneur.

The chargesheet against Yeddyurappa and Katta was filed under provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

It said Yeddyurappa, during his tenure as chief minister in 2008, abused his official power and illegally denotified 20 acres acquired by KIADB for setting up an SEZ at Hoovinayankanahalli near Devanahalli.
