A bench of Justices B D Ahmed and Vibhu Bakhru concluded the hearing and is likely to pronounce its verdict at the earliest as the election for the DHCBA is scheduled for December 13.
Advocate Rajiv Khosla, a member of the Bar Council of Delhi, who filed the petition, said DHCBA executive committee had "unlawfully and arbitrarily" amended its Constitution and election rules without prior approval of the general body.
"This is not the way to hold the elections. Right in the high court such an illegality is happening. All executive members of other Bar Associations have been debarred from elections. The voter list is fabricated and fraudulent," the advocate had said.
Earlier, a single judge bench of the high court had refused to grant any ex-parte interim relief to Khosla against various amendments carried out in the DHCBA constitution.
