The Delhi High Court today refused to entertain a plea against UPSC's recent decision asking civil services aspirants not to answer questions in the English Comprehensive section of the Preliminary Examination to be held on August 24.
"This writ petition is not maintainable. This petition will go. You have come to a wrong forum and should have approached the Central Administrative Tribunal," Justice Hima Kohli said.
The court, however, allowed advocate Vikas Nagwan, appearing for civil services aspirant Dinesh Bhatia, to file a fresh plea in the form of a PIL tomorrow.
During the day, Nagwan also mentioned the matter before a bench of Chief Justice G Rohini and Justice R S Endlaw.
"Has the single judge bench passed any order? Let an order be passed, then only we can consider," the bench said.
Recently, the Centre had, following protests by a section of students over English Comprehension test in the Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services examination, decided to remove the questions of English languages in the CSAT.
