HCL Care plans pan-India presence by 2016

Mobile and electronic goods repair services chain HCL Care has plans to more than double its number of service centres and have presence in all districts of the country by end of 2016.
"We are adding 10-15 centres every month. We expect to have at least 1 centre in each district by 2016," HCL Care Head Sharad Talwar told PTI.
There are over 670 districts in the country and the company at the moment has over 300 HCL Touch, the brand under which HCL Care operates, across about 250 cities.
HCL Care provides repair services up to main circuits level problem of mobile as well as other electronic products.

"We handle an average of about 1.4 million phone calls on product complaints every year. HCL Care has been expanding facility because with increase in mobile phone, we are seeing there be much more work in coming days," Talwar said.
The company's client for mobile phone segment include Nokia, Samsung, Micromax, Xolo, Jolla, OBI, Blackberry, Xiaomi and Lenovo.
"We are seeing manifold increase in demand for services in rural areas which is why we are looking at expanding services to small towns as well," Talwar said.
