"HDFC Bank has set up a Toll Free number to provide a dedicated service for its J&K customers. Customers can dial Toll Free: 1800221819 for information on banking services, requests and transactions-related queries," a company spokesman said.
Further, the Bank has resumed operations in 53 branches that were affected by floods in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Bank has a total of 69 branches in the state, he said.
In the Kashmir region, out of a total of 37 branches, 21 branches are already operational, including 8 branches in the city of Srinagar, he said adding that in the Jammu region, normal operations have resumed in all the 32 branches.
Even as essential services and connectivity in the state is getting restored, HDFC Bank is using VSATs across all branches to ensure normal banking operations, he said, adding that out of the 79 ATMs in Kashmir, 42 ATMs have been made operational, including 20 ATMs in Srinagar city. In Jammu region, 78 ATMs are already operational.
