Headmaster suspended for sexually harassing students

Headmaster of a government middle school in Bihar's Sheikhpura district was today suspended on the charges of sexual harassment of girl students.
Although, when the accused was contacted, he denied the charges and described the allegation as part of a 'conspiracy' against him.
District Education Officer Shashi Bhusan Rai said the headmaster was put under suspension after a probe found the complaint of him sexually harassing school girls was true.
Following a complaint by girl students and villagers against the headmaster, the district magistrate had ordered an inquiry into the allegation.
The girl students of classes VII and VIII of the school had also complained that the headmaster had taken their pictures with his mobile phone in the classroom, he said.
Complaints were also filed against the headmaster's son who used to accompany him to the school and sexually harass the girls, many of whom were forced to leave school, he said.
