Health India TPA eyes Rs 100-crore turnover in FY17

Health India TPA Services is looking at closing the current fiscal with a turnover of more than Rs 100 crore, a top official of the fourth largest third party administrator said today.
"Our annual turnover crossed the mark of Rs 93 crore in the year gone by and we are looking at closing the current fiscal with a turnover of Rs 100 crore," Health India TPA Services promoter Mitul Vora said here.
He was talking on the sidelines of inauguration of a new office of the company.
At present, there are 29 TPAs in the country, of which only 10-12 are active.
Last year, the company was instrumental in settling a total of 1,40,000 claims, amounting to Rs 400 crore.
"However, this year we are likely to help settle 2 lakh claims amounting to Rs 500 crore," Vora said.
The company, which has 32 branches across the country, has tied up with over 4,000 hospitals.
