The Union Health Ministry has set up dedicated health posts with adequate number of doctors and para-medical staff across Rajpath on International Yoga Day (IYD), apart from deploying a number of ambulance at the venue, officials said.
"We have made adequate arrangements for the IYD. Presently heatwave conditions are prevailing and people participating in the event might get heat stroke or face dehydrations.
He said that the entire venue has been divided into various sectors and each sector will have a dedicated health posts to take care of any emergencies. Around 40 ambulances will be stationed across the venue.
The Health Ministry will deploy doctors and para-medical staff from various hospitals.

Another senior Ministry official said all under secretaries and officials above have been asked to take part in the IYD on Sunday.
The IYD is being observed in the national capital after the United Nations had in December last year declared June 21 as International Yoga Day.
The proposal had been mooted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his first address to the UN General Assembly in September last year.
