A subsidiary of Kuwait-based Public Services Company (PSC) today said it has resumed the health screening services here for those going for employment in the Gulf nation.
Khadamat Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, the sole facilitator authorised by the Kuwait government for medical examinations and screening facilities for Indian citizens planning to visit the country, had stopped the services here in May last in the wake of protests from various quarters over "excessive" fee charged.
The screening services at the Kochi branch were resumed last month. It was also offering the services in Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
The company acted in "good faith" in coordination with the Kerala Government to resume operations for the convenience of the people of Kerala, Adel Nasser Al-Jumhour, Foreign Projects Coordinator, Public Services Company, told reporters here.
The Kochi facility would help job seekers from Kerala and surrounding states to undergo medical examinations here itself, he said.
By conducting the medical examination at Khadamat, the expatriates were guaranteed various benefits. Moreover, they are assured a secure and transparent process with no hidden or unexplained costs, he said.
