Heard's statement comes after author JK Rowling, who is penning the script for the "Fantastic Beasts" franchise, defended Depp, as a lot of fans questioned his casting following domestic violence allegations made by the 31-year- old "Justice League" actor.
In a statement on social media, Heard said she and Depp shared a relationship, which was "intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love".
"... Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm. Amber wishes the best for Johnny in the future. Amber will be donating financial proceeds from the divorce to a charity," the statement on Twitter read.
Last year, Heard filed for divorce from and a restraining order against the "Murder on the Orient Express" actor, narrating several incidents of physical, verbal and emotional abuse throughout their marriage.

On December 7, Rowling had shared her response to a fan on social media, who questioned the author's agreement to let Depp be a part of the film.
"... Based on our understanding of the circumstances, the filmmakers and I are not only comfortable sticking with our original casting, but genuinely happy to have Johnny playing a major character in the movies," Rowling wrote.
She added both she and David Yates had considered the possibility of recasting the role for "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindlewald".
