Heat wave continues in Raj, Jaisalmer hottest at 42.6 deg C

Jaisalmer was today recorded as the hottest place in Rajasthan where mercury soared to 42.6 degrees Celsius.
Bikaner and Churu recorded the day temperature of 42.4 and 42.3 degrees Celsius, respectively, while Kota, Barmer, Pilani and Jaipur recorded maximum of 41.3, 41, 40.7 and 40.3 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Heat wave continued in western parts of the state and the weather conditions would remain the same during next 24 hours, according to Met department here.
