Heat wave continues to sweep Jharkhand

Jharkhand continued to reel under severe heat wave as many parts of the state recorded above 40 degrees Celsius temperatures.
Bokaro, Deogarh, Jamtara and Garhwa sizzled at 45 degree Celsius while temperatures between 42 and 44 degree Celsius were recorded at Pakur, Latehar and Palamau and Hazariabagh, Kodarma, Gumla, Chatra and West Singhbhum registered between 39 and 43 degrees Celsius, MeT office sources said.
However, temperatures dropped in Ranchi (37.8) Dumka (37), Dhanbad (39), Jamshedpur (39.6) compared to yesterday's maximum of between 39.9 and 43 degrees Celsius.
The MeT, however, predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundershower at some places tomorrow.
