Mercury showed upward trend due to dry weather conditions rising by one to four degrees in the last 24 hours at many places in the state, the report said.
Ganganagar recorded a maximum of 43 degrees Celsius followed by Bikaner 41.7, Barmer and Kota 41.4 degrees Celsius each.
Jaipur also suffered heatwave conditions as mercury rose to 41.3 degrees Celsius, about three degrees more than the normal.
Weather in the state would remain mainly dry with possibility of dust storm or thundershowers at isolated places in next 24 hours. The mercury would further shoot up in northwest, the Met predicted.
