Under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation, a low pressure area has formed over west central Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas off south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh coasts, an IMD spokesman here said.
The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends upto 7.6 km above sea level, he said.
Under its impact, rain and thundershower would occur at most places over Odisha while heavy to very heavy rainfall would lash one or two places in coastal Odisha districts during next 24 hours, he said.
