Heavy rainfall lashes parts of Raj, 2 killed

Heavy rains lashed parts of Rajasthan today even as two men were swept away in flooded rivers in the state.
Dungla in Chittorgarh received 11 cm of rainfall while Danpur in Banswara received 9 cm rains today, the MeT Department said today.
Mangaliawas in Ajmer, Bagidora in Banswara respectively received 8 cm and 7 cm rainfall. Several other places also received below 7 cm rains.
Jaipur, Pilani and Kota received rainfall at 4.8 mm, 2.2 mm and 1 mm.
The southwest monsoon is likely to further advance and cover the remaining parts of the state tomorrow as the weather conditions are becoming favourable.
The MeT Department has forecast heavy rainfall in isolated areas in the state tomorrow.
