"Rainfall has occurred in Jharkhand with heavy rains in most of the places. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in some places in the next 24 hours," Ranchi Met Office Director G K Mohanty said.
A low pressure intensified and under its influence more rains are expected, he said, adding that an average 50 mm rainfall occurred during the last two days in the state.
The rainfall in the state recorded from June 1 till now is 584.2 mm as against the normal average of 760 mm, he said.
