Heavy rainfall ranging between 7-11 cm is most likely to occur at one or two places in the state till tomorrow morning, Regional office of India Meteorological Department said.
Strong westerly winds with a speed of 45-55 kmph commencing from 2 pm today has also been forecast.
Fishermen along Kerala and Lakshadweep coast have been warned against putting out to sea.
While Taliparamba and Panniyur in Kannur district received 11 cm rains, Munnar in Idukki recorded 9 cm rains. Vythiri in Waynad got 8 cm rains.
